"Not as clean or comfortable as other places I’ve stayed"
I was disappointed with the room, honestly. The bed felt old and wasn’t comfortable, and the sheets didn’t really feel fresh. The bathroom also had hair on the floor and dust in the corners, which was a letdown. For the price, I expected a lot better, especially compared to other hotels in the same range that have been much cleaner and more comfortable. I didn’t sleep well at all and probably wouldn’t choose this place again.

"Convenient, but kind of a hassle"
The downtown location is great and made it easy to get to restaurants and stuff nearby. That said, parking was super annoying, and trying to get inside with luggage felt weirdly inconvenient. I mean, it’s not awful, but if you’re hoping for an easy in-and-out situation, this place might drive you a little crazy

"Good dinner, bar was a little slow"
Had a nice dinner here, food was decent and we enjoyed it overall. Only thing was the bar service was kinda slow, so drinks took a bit longer than expected

"Really kind people working here"
The staff here were genuinely so kind. It’s the kind of simple, decent treatment that really makes a difference when you’re out and about. I appreciated it a lot.

"Beautiful old place, but kind of a letdown"
I really wanted to love this hotel because the historic building is genuinely beautiful and has a lot of character. But at the same time, the whole atmosphere felt a bit flat and worn out, which was frustrating. For such a well-known place, I expected more warmth or energy. It’s charming in some ways, but it just didn’t feel very welcoming

"The hotel itself was nice enough..."
The hotel itself was nice enough, but for what they charge, I expected a lot more. The room felt basic, and every little extra seemed to come with an annoying fee. I also got tired of dealing with automated systems instead of just being able to talk to a real person when I needed something. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but I definitely didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth.
